Review: I remember first hearing about TX Blended Whiskey from the Whiskey Vault YouTube Channel. When they said “if you like drinking vanilla lattes, this may be the whiskey for you” I knew I had to pick up a bottle. Thankfully later that year I traveled to Texas for work and grabbed an Uber to the nearest Liquor Store to pick up a bottle. Upon opening it back at the hotel with some coworkers I knew I needed to get more. Since that initial trip to Texas I have probably flow back with a dozen bottles for me and my friends. Thankfully my local Total Wine started carrying TX Blended so now I can save on the checked bag fees. Because the whiskey is so approachable and sweet it is often what I pull out when guests say “I haven’t really tried whiskey”. I offer them a pour of TX Blended and if they don’t care for it then maybe whiskey isn’t for them. Cheers!

My Rating: Stock it. If not for you for your non whiskey friends!

May the miles you hike be filled with wonder and the glasses you raise be filled with whiskey.

Cheers!

Rating scale:

-Spit: Don’t bother with this one. If a friend gives you a dram of it, are they even your friend?

-Shoot: Good enough to get you drunk.

-Sip: Tasty enough to enjoy neat or on the rocks.

-Stock: I’d recommend keeping a bottle on hand.
