Review:

Made from a recipe from Ireland dating back to 1865 this whiskey is very unique. It is distilled in Oregon using a traditional wood fired alembic pot still. It is then barreled in French and American oak for 3 years before it is hand bottled. Complex but easy to drink it is different from anything else I have had before. It has new make qualities without the harshness often associated with a clear distillate. Worth trying if you every come across a bottle.

My Rating: Sip it.

Interesting and different than any whiskey I have had before. Worth trying if you come across it at a bar or a friends house.

May the miles you hike be filled with wonder and the glasses you raise be filled with whiskey.

Cheers!

Rating scale:

-Spit: Don’t bother with this one. If a friend gives you a dram of it, are they even your friend?

-Shoot: Good enough to get you drunk.

-Sip: Tasty enough to enjoy neat or on the rocks.

-Stock: I’d recommend keeping a bottle on hand.
