Review: Sweet and almost creamy, this 100% rye drinks almost like a barely legal rye. The rye spice definitely shows up but more at the end of the palate. Because of this Oregon Spirit’s 4 year old rye may be a great gateway rye for folks trying to expand their palates from bourbon. It is light and approachable with out being weak or low proof. A fantastic pour neat and has enough character to stand up to a cocktail. Cheers!

My Rating: Stock it. Especially if you are trying to find a gateway into ryes.
