Review: Bird Creek has some amazing marketing and some amazing whiskey. Each of the Bird Creek bottles has a compass in the cork and Mt. Adams (home to the creek Bird Creek is named for) embossed into the bottom of the bottle. Their Small Batch blended American Malt is a fantastic blend of two NW barleys that blend together for a fantastic nose and palate. I can easily see how one of their whiskies won American Single Malt of the Year in 2023. I do believe the price is a bit high (likely due to their incredible bottles) but the whiskey inside is worth trying. Cheers!

My Rating: Sip it.

May the miles you hike be filled with wonder and the glasses you raise be filled with whiskey.

Cheers!

Rating scale:

-Spit: Don’t bother with this one. If a friend gives you a dram of it, are they even your friend?

-Shoot: Good enough to get you drunk.

-Sip: Tasty enough to enjoy neat or on the rocks.

-Stock: I’d recommend keeping a bottle on hand.
