Review: I first tried this American Single Malt from 4 Spirits at the Oregon Whiskey Festival in 2022. It was the only bottle they still had available for sale and I enjoyed the taste so I picked up a bottle. Upon trying it a handful of times it seemed to become fruitier and fruiter. I do not tend to enjoy the heavy cereal malt flavors in a lot of single malts, especially Speyside Scotches but this one delivered sweet caramel and lots of fresh fruit notes. Candy is how I would describe both the nose and taste. This makes it a great intro to the American Single Malt Category. Cheers!

My Rating: Stock it. It is fresh and fruity. Worth keeping in your bar.

May the miles you hike be filled with wonder and the glasses you raise be filled with whiskey.

Cheers!

Rating scale:

-Spit: Don’t bother with this one. If a friend gives you a dram of it, are they even your friend?

-Shoot: Good enough to get you drunk.

-Sip: Tasty enough to enjoy neat or on the rocks.

-Stock: I’d recommend keeping a bottle on hand.
