When it comes to gear, I am typically a function over form type of guy. When I carried a flask in the past it was the lightest version of whatever size I wanted to pack with me. Then Trail Toddy released their camping flask I decided that it looked good enough to deal with the couple extra ounces. When it comes to barware in my home, I prefer classic and understated glasses to really let the spirit or the cocktail shine. This flask is the same way. Although it is beautiful on its own, the clear sides allow the spirit to shine through. The short tether makes it easy to hold onto and its 13-ounce capacity makes it perfect for a weekend trip. Paired with some of their delicious hot toddies and you have a fantastic way to end a day on the trail.

The fact that the flask is BPA free and dishwashers safe is icing on the cake (the co-owner of Trail Toddy bakes cakes too). My only gripe is I do wish the cap was attached in some form as I worry I will lose it after consuming what was in the flask. Cheers!
