Review:

In full transparency I have never used the Kula Cloth. At least not for its intended purpose. I initially picked it up for my wife to use on her first backpacking trip after seeing it recommended by Hike Oregon on YouTube. Since custom Kula’s were available and my wife didn’t care much for my logo, I decided a custom Kula was the perfect thing to put my first logo on. If only I knew the can of worms I was opening.

I won’t go into detail about the custom process other than to say it was very easy. The big benefit of a Kula Cloth for anyone who squats when they pee is it saves them the hassle of having to dig a cat hole to bury your toilet paper after peeing in the woods. It is made out of a silver infused fabric that can be folded and clasped shut after use. It is then easily attached to the outside of your backpack and can be cleaned when you get to a sink or washing machine. The low cost and ease of use make it a perfect addition to your backpack or day pack if you spend any time in the woods and require a quick wipe after peeing.

My Rating: Buy

May the miles you hike be filled with wonder and the glasses you raise be filled with whiskey.

Rating scale:

-Bypass: This isn’t worth the money.

-Borrow: Handy but may or may not be worth your money.

-Buy: Get one. You’ll love it!

May the miles you hike be filled with wonder and the glasses you raise be filled with whiskey.

Cheers!
