I started my backpacking career with the traditional long handle spork and folding spork. The long handles made it easy to reach into the bottom of a dehydrated meal like a Mountain House but there were 2 flaws in my sporks. The fork part was basically useless if you need to fork something like a slice of steak. The second issue was they were very hard to clean.

The Toaks long handle spoon with polished bowl solved bot of these problems. Not only did the long handle still make it easy to reach the bottom of the food bags but the flat bottom of the spoon made it easy to get every last bit of food. The polished bowl made it easier to clean and it felt better in the mouth. Add in the inexpensive price and durable material and you have a utensil that goes on every trip with me.

My Rating: Buy. Heck buy 2 and give one to a friend or keep as a backup. Cheers!
