I typically bring dehydrated meals on trips which only require boiling water and a spoon. Because of this I was a bit leery to buy some plates but when we decided to cook steaks and sides on one trip, I knew a plate would make a lot of sense for serving. The titanium plates are only 2 ounces in weight and are big enough to hold a full meal without being so big that they are hard to pack. The clean up is fairly easy and they also make for nice based to put your stoves on when the ground is uneven.

My Rating: Buy. These titanium plates are inexpensive and lightweight enough to keep around for when you feel like doing some actual cooking on trail. Cheers!
