In my search to find the perfect backpacking pillow I came across the Aeros line from Sea to Summit. I had been using a Trekology pillow which was fairly similar, albeit a lot cheaper, to the standard Aeros Pillow. I had seen the Deluxe version but felt like it was too heavy to be of good use to me. Thankfully one day I came across the Ultralight Version of the Deluxe pillow and decided to give it a try. This is a very large pillow measuring roughly 22” across, 14” top to bottom and 5” thick. This made it a great fit for my 25” wide pads. I do wish it came with a strap option as my sleeping pads do not have the Sea to Summit Pillow Lock system. For the 4.6 ounces this is a great option and large enough to always support your head when you toss and turn at night.

My Rating: Buy it! This is a great pillow for side sleepers or folks who toss and turn at night. Not quite as comfy as the Nemo Fillo but half the weight and much more size!
