Taste: Delicious Chile flavor with slight spice. Could use a pinch of salt but did not need my typical hot sauce addition.

Texture: Whole hominy with finely shredded chicken. Everything rehydrated well.

Overall Score: Buy it!

Packing a lot of flavor for a low weight. I dislike that they do not note an estimate as to how much boiling water is needed but there is a “fill line” which is on the outside of the pouch.

Notes:

This is a meal I will be buying more of. I am going to try it with slightly less water to make for a thicker meal that I will add to a tortilla with eggs for an on trail breakfast burrito.
