Review: As someone who does not prefer higher rye bourbons, I do seem to have an affinity for rye whiskies. Eliajh Craig Rye is a “barely legal” rye comprised of only 51% (the bare minimum legally allowed). Because of this it does offer more sweet than spice but it is most definitely a rye. The spice is not in your face but almost in the background. Because of this it can be a nice introduction to rye whiskies for those who mainly drink bourbons. Add in its decent proof point at 94 and its sub $30 cost and it will always have a home in my bar. Cheers!
My Rating: Stock it. Cheap and easy to mix or drink neat.
May the miles you hike be filled with wonder and the glasses you raise be filled with whiskey.
Cheers!
Rating scale:

-Shoot: Good enough to get you drunk.
-Sip: Tasty enough to enjoy neat or on the rocks.
-Stock: I’d recommend keeping a bottle on hand.
