Review: There is a small chance I am biased as Doc Swinson’s is produced in my now home state of Washington. The team there has done a great job of sourcing and blending whiskies and their Blender’s Cut is no exception. The 5+ year old whiskey is a combination of two very popular bourbons from Indiana and the resulting blend is easy to drink and packed with flavor. Add in it’s fairly affordable price tag (for a near cask strength at least) and you have a bottle worth picking up. Cheers!

My Rating: Stock it.

May the miles you hike be filled with wonder and the glasses you raise be filled with whiskey.

Cheers!

Rating scale:

-Spit: Don’t bother with this one. If a friend gives you a dram of it, are they even your friend?

-Shoot: Good enough to get you drunk.

-Sip: Tasty enough to enjoy neat or on the rocks.

-Stock: I’d recommend keeping a bottle on hand.
