Review: Reflection 1 was my first whiskey from Blue Run. I picked up a couple of their offerings while traveling in Denver, CO and was curious if it would meet my expectations due to their $100 price tag. Although I do not feel like Reflection 1 brings anything new or exciting to the bourbon world it is a fantastic whiskey that is easy to drink and offers up more fruit notes that other bourbons I am use to. However, I do feel there are better options for a lesser price.

My Rating: Shoot it. At a lower price it would likely become a stock it.

May the miles you hike be filled with wonder and the glasses you raise be filled with whiskey.

Cheers!

Rating scale:

-Spit: Don’t bother with this one. If a friend gives you a dram of it, are they even your friend?

-Shoot: Good enough to get you drunk.

-Sip: Tasty enough to enjoy neat or on the rocks.

-Stock: I’d recommend keeping a bottle on hand.
