Taste: Great grapefruit and floral notes pair nicely with the agave and green notes of tequila.

Texture: Best served cold it goes down nicely. A refreshing way to take a break on trail.

Overall Score: Buy it if you like Tequila/Mezcal

Notes: For the sake of transparency I have spent time on the trail with the Trail Toddy folks and am big fans of all of their products. They have occasionally given me free product but I have spent many of my own hard earned dollars with them. With all that said I love that they added cocktail mixes to their lineup. In the summer time there is little more refreshing that the grapefruit tang that is in the Paloma Fix. Adding a few ounces of a blanco tequila and you have one of my favorite ways to spend and afternoon next to an alpine lake. Bonus tip: pick up some Hot Sauce Powder from Fernweh Food co. and make a spiced rim to add a little zing to your cocktail.
