Notes:

My wife and I first tried this slaw at the 2021 PCT Trail Days. My wife who isn’t a big fan of backpacking food suggested we pick up a few of the slaws along with some of their other offerings as the sample was just that good. I was a bit skeptical that only 1 ounce was needed for my small lunch portion but that was the case. The slaw had a wonderful sauce with bolt peanut flavor and the cool crunch was a nice bonus on the hot day along the White River in Oregon. I look forward to packing this on more trips. The fact that it is a cold soak and no stove is needed means I will likely bring more of their meals on longer day hikes so I can leave my stove at home. Cheers!

May the miles you hike be filled with wonder and the glasses you raise be filled with whiskey. Cheers!

Getting ready to add the whopping 1 ounce of water to my lunch along the White River in Oregon.
