Taste: Deep and rich flavors. Roasted peppers and umami flavors make you forget its vegan.

Texture: Everything rehydrates nicely leaving a wonderful texture.

Overall Score: Buy it. Even if you’re not vegan!

Notes: This “chili” is good enough to make at home. I was blown away at just how fantastic the flavors mixed. The sweet potatoes and black beans all rehydrated nicely and the umami flavors made me forget that this was a vegan meal. You could add a little hot sauce powder for an extra kick but it packed plenty of flavor on its own.

May the miles you hike be filled with wonder and the glasses you raise be filled with whiskey. Cheers!
