Notes:

My only knock on this meal is needing to remove the cornbread pieces which were all at the top of the pouch. I don’t like reaching my potentially dirty hands into my food even before adding hot water. Besides that small gripe it is an easy to use meal with fantastic flavor and texture. The corn and beans rehydrated nicely and their flavors pair nicely with the mixed peppers in the tomatillo sauce. It was not heavy but still very filling. The macros are nice as well with 25 grams of protein from this plant-based meal. If you come across a package in your local outdoors store or are looking for some fantastic South West flavors to pack on trail, I recommend picking up a package of the Green Tamale Pie. Cheers!
