Notes: I first saw Greenbelly Meals on Darwin on the Trails YouTube channel. I loved how nutrient/calorie dense they were and allowed an easy lunch replacement option that did not require stopping to heat water and rehydrate a traditional backpacking meal. However, I could never find them in stores. I was able to find them online but was hesitant. Eventually I stopped by a popular small store along the PCT in Trout Lake Washington who had a nice supply of Meals2Go. I picked up a bar and was pleasantly surprised at how good it tasted without being overly sweet or hitting your stomach like a bomb. I plan to order some for future long hikes as it is a much more convenient lunch option. Cheer!
May the miles you hike be filled with wonder and the glasses you raise be filled with whiskey. Cheers!
