Overall Score: Borrow. A delicious albeit spendy way to treat your sweet tooth while out on trail.

Notes: I love sweets and always have something sweet when on trail. That being said its usually candy and not a full-blown dehydrated meal. This offering from Fernweh Food co is the closest you will probably get to enjoying a warm Strawberry Rhubarb pie while out on trail. I do dislike having to remove stuff from the pouch before cooking but maybe I just need to do a better job of washing my hands while backpacking. The granola when added back in at the end of rehydration does offer a welcome crunch to this fantastic dessert. The only downside is its $16 price tag and limited availability.

May the miles you hike be filled with wonder and the glasses you raise be filled with whiskey. Cheers!
