Taste: The berry and strawberry flavors tend to be my favorite.

Texture: Typical gummy texture.

Overall Score: Buy it.

Notes: On longer trips I am always looking for ways to perk me up during my mid morning slump. That time when the coffee has worn off and the handful of miles hiked have drained your belly. Enter the Bolt Energy Chews from ProBar. The gummy texture has a nice chew and the majority of flavors I have tried have been enjoyable. They only pack 90 cals per pouch and have enough sugar to get you comfortably back on trail.

May the miles you hike be filled with wonder and the glasses you raise be filled with whiskey. Cheers!

Rating scale:

-Bypass: This isn’t worth the money.
